Ever worry about your kids and money? You'll like FoolProof.
FoolProof is an online financial education program that uses interactivity, games, music, and tough talk--all delivered by young people—to inoculate the young people in your life from major financial mistakes.
FoolProof's interactive "modules" work with our dedicated online youth site called CUHQ to engage young people.
High School or College Age?
FoolProof comes in two versions. Here's a quick overview of both versions, and of our CUHQ youth website. Hey, you might even learn something here!
FoolProof for Parents and Grandparents
FoolProof for Parents (and Grandparents) is designed for you to use at home with your kids or grandchildren. It puts you in charge of your kid’s financial education. FoolProof tackles several problems you may face with your kids:
- How do you get a teenager to care about financial responsibility?
- How do you keep a teenager from being ripped off in the consumer marketplace?
- How do you teach a teenager the enormous value of good credit?
You enroll your kids, and the kids’ test results are sent to you.

FoolProof Solo
FoolProof Solo is designed for college-aged young people, or other adults who want to fine-tune their financial savvy on their own. The test results are sent only to the person who signs up.
We’ve had 61 year-olds who enjoyed working through these modules, so don’t be shy about working through the modules yourself. You’ll learn a little about online "gaming," too!
Use it like this: Go to FoolProof Solo by clicking the "FoolProof for Parents" link in the navigation. Watch the video intro and then send your young people to the FoolProof Solo program.
Want to test your own financial savvy? Give FoolProof Solo a try yourself! The test results will come directly to you.
CUHQ
CUHQ gives young people a heads-up on the real world as they head to college or a job. It’s an online ‘newspaper’ that features podcasts, videos, and real-life stories to show young people the realities of the free enterprise system. They—and you—will quickly see the power of the messages at CUHQ.
